Create a Five-Minute Filler Box with various brain stimulating activities for use with short windows of time. Write short, five-minute activities on index cards and store them in a box. Activities can be analogies, brain teasers, 20 questions, 5 clues, anagrams, and picture puzzles. If you do not write them on the board, have a file where you can keep the worksheet papers.
